In 2013, the Fairhaven Village Militia will hold two weekend-long historical encampments at Fort Phoenix. Visitors will be able to see a Revolutionary War era camp, military drilling, camp cooking, musket and cannon firing demonstrations, and learn about 18th Century medical and dentistry practices.
